About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Making the world a better place. Interested in meeting people of different cultures and diverse backgrounds. I honestly believe that many current issues can be solved on a global scale and that's why making international connections and friends is so important.

ABOUT ME

I've been living in Berlin since finishing my bachelor's in 2012. In between, I studied in Dresden and Newcastle (UK) and came back to this vibrant city. After having finished my geography studied I founded my own company Seedbomb City. Hope to educate people on how important a green surrounding full of plants and trees is. When not working at home or in a coworking space, I love playing ping pong in parks. I'm also a member of a kayaking club and if you are interested I can take you along for a tour. I also love biking and like to go on trips outside of Berlin or even on longer trips with a tent. I'm also a big fan of hiking. Oh, and almost forgot. I love to cook. Have kind of become a big fan of Ottolenghi. You should look up some of his recipes. The spices he uses - just mind-blasting.

PHILOSOPHY

Carpe diem - After watching 'Dead Poets Society' in school this kinda stuck.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

It's been ten years now when I first signed up to CS. The platform changed over time, but I'm still amazed by the opportunities it offers to bring people closer together. Currently, I like to meet up with other Couchsurfers to exchange stories and do cool activities.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My first Couchsurfing experience was in Prague and it was great. It really changes the perspective on traveling. It's not the same if you just take your tour guide or you are taken to unknown spots and awesome places by locals. After that, I go hosted a few times and also hosted people myself. Never had a bad experience so far.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Doing research for my master's thesis in Burkina Faso (West Africa). After having stayed 3 months and survived three malaria infections, I'm still amazed by the continent and would love to go back sometime.

My family and me going from northern Germany to the North Cape (Norway) by bike.

Kayaking on the Baltic Sea.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you some German. If you can teach me some Portuguese, that would be fab, since I'm thinking of living in Portugal someday.

I can teach you how to go kayaking.

I would love to share some delicious meals with you.

What I Can Share with Hosts

A great time. Since I like to cook, I'm definitely up for taking over this task.
