Sporty guy in his 30's, in the midst of a gap-year from my regular work to travel and learn a new language. I like to meet great people from around the world, while travelling abroad and while staying home, learn new things, discover new passions, read books, try to make sense of the world we live in, live in cities while spending as much time as possible outside in the wild.

I have traveled in South America for the second half of last year with my girlfriends, who had to go back home after Christmas to pursue work opportunities, I will now be traveling in Argentina and Chile until March 7th.

I am great outdoor-sport enthousiast, always looking for opportunities to go play outside, for a couple of hours or a couple of days. I especially enjoy wild camping, multidays backcountry treks and canoe expedition trips, mountain biking, backcountry and snowshoeing trips.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am on Couchsurfing to facilitate the meeting of local people living in the places I am visiting, as well as fellow travelers from around the world whith whom I may share some interest. As a CS host, I am interested in helping fellow CS users experience the best of my home city, and meeting them along the way.

Teach, Learn, Share

I am always interested in doing language exchanges, helping you learn French or English, while practicing my Spanish. I could teach some of the outdoor sports I like, such as cross-country skiing and canoeing. I also wish to organize without others, or join in existing groups, multidays backcountry expedition trips, in Chile and Argentina, as well as in the northeastern corner of North America.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I am interested in sharing ideas and opinions over whatever is shaping the world in which we live in and interested in doing language-exchange, helping each other in learning another language. I can cook and make discover the french-canadian culinary traditions.
