ABOUT ME

that I hate those kind of questions.

But generally they´d say that I am open, outgoing, funny and easy to get along with. Maybe a bit sarcastic, ironic and cynical. Some say that I am good at bringing together different groups of people or friend circles, and that I am always up for activities.

PHILOSOPHY

I really am what I study, even if that sounds a bit uncool, but I do like economics as a way to explain the world. I guess i am a rational person in that way, but I dont see it as a bad thing. I sometimes tend to constantly do cost benefit analysis in my head, although i dont really listen to it.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I havent had any real CouchSurfing experience, but im quite used to crash friends places since I ve done a year abroad in France. Ever since most of my trips where spent on some friends couch. It´s always the best way to get around if you already with someone who knows his way around.

Interests

Latly i ve started doing more and more sports thx to the opportunities given in Zürich. I play basketball, tennis and soccer and started doing some kick boxing.

On the other side I play violin and viola in the University orchestra.

Unfortunately I also spent some time on the Internet on boards and try to keep informed about news and sports.

The rest is blocked with meeting friends and other activities like swimming, hiking etc. Im normally the person who rarely says now if a friend has a proposal to do something.

Music, Movies, and Books

I do like a lot of movies like Requiem for a dream, Office space etc and watch a lot of high quality series like the Wire, Mad Men or Dexter.

Music wise i like electro for partying but also admit to like bad German party or mainstream music on some occasions if the mood is right.

Books is really hard: Recently read the whole series of the song of ice and fire and I generally liked Scifi books like Douglas Adams or I. Asimov.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I dont really now, i was quite impressed by the hagia Sophia in Instanbul since its so huge and old. Lately Persepolis also impressed me quite a lot as did Rome.

Im always amazed how small the world can be, when you meet people you´d never expect to meet at that place at that point of time.

Teach, Learn, Share

I probably could teach the languages I speak at a high level. Never really tried to teach Violin or Viola, though at a beginners level it should at least work.
I still aim on learning Spanisch, but guess that boat has sailed. Improvising on Instruments would be nice, but I have no clue about scales and so on.

I´d like to share travel experiences because the more the merrier is almost always true.
