I am Ben and I created an account on Couchsurfing while traveling overland from Asia to Europe. Now that I am back home, I would like to meet some new people and hear about their stories when I am on vacation. I would also like to host people myself and hopefully be as good a host as I was a surfer.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I created an account on Couchsurfing because Trustroots didn’t have as much variety in hosts, especially in eastern countries like China, Mongolia, or Russia.
We want to meet people, who are actually living in the places we visit and hopefully build some international friendships/connections :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Me (19 y old) and my girlfriend Hanna (19 y old), both from Bavaria/Germany, travelled since 1st of January 2025 across Asia/Europe. We started our trip in South-East-Asia, but learned quite fast that we want to see more of Asia. So we flew to Taiwan and traveled overland across Japan, Korea and China to central Asia. Then through the Altai mountains of China and Mongolia to Russia, where we continued our journey to europe by traveling the transsiberian railway. In the end of November we finally made it back in the EU and the hardest part was done. In january we finished our trip in germany and in april I start studying in Erlagen.

When we finished Highschool in 2024 we worked for six months in a chocolate factory for Christmas season. So I definitely know whats not my dreamjob, even though there was always something delicious to snack around.
