I'm a curious person looking to explore what's out there. I love wandering around to get a sense of a city's atmosphere and everyday life. I'm a pretty relaxed, taking my time to enjoy what I'm doing and not rushing to ticks things off a checklist. I can be quiet and thoughtful, and I love to hear what you have to say.

But I can be silly and cheeky too...sometimes :)

Interessen

I'm a big fan of film (obviously) and can't talk about it enough. Music, especially indie R&B, and house / techno. If you wanna hang out at night for drinks and a chat, I'm totally available! A proud lover of the nightlife / club / house music scene.

I can also get very absorbed in long and deep conversations, about philosophy, politics, the world. But I'm also down for light and quirky talks. I'm very interested in language and the way we communicate.

(There's no shame in nerding over videogames.)

Most of all, I love eating all sorts of different cuisines--a fantastic way to get to know other people. Warning: I am a chronic sweet tooth.

Musik, Filme und Bücher

My love is for (but not unlimited to) R&B, indie, and house. (One of my favourite things to do is to sit down and listen to each other's music.) In a love affair with Jessie Ware, Banks, Blood Orange, The Knife, SBTRKT, Jon Hopkins, etc, even Beyonce.

Some of my favourite films / directors / genres: Blade Runner, Apocalypse Now, L'avventura, Ingmar Bergman, Xavier Dolan, and the giallo.

Unfortunately I'm not as well-versed in books, but some that I like are: The Handmaid's Tale, Bouvard et Pecuchet, If on a winter's night a traveler.

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

One night, I was walking around the streets of Florence with the good company of friends. We were just chatting about our lives and wandering around town. Only moments ago the sun was setting. We sat down on a bridge to see it descend...sometimes the little moments are the most vivid.

Lehren, lernen, teilen

I can teach to what I know about film--the different elements, the little details, the way a scene is composed. Love to learn about your culture so I can tell everyone about it! Unfortunately I am a horrible cook but I can definitely help out (I promise I won't burn anything).
