Hi, my name is Bente and I'm from Germany.
Currently, I live in Bremerhaven to study "Cruise Tourism Management" (which is basically a Business and Management course with focus on tourism).
I am a very open minded person and I'm always looking for things to discover. Although I love to laugh and make some jokes I can be a very quiet/listening/caring person in the right moments.
To my mind it's important to be always helpful because one day I'll get back what I gave and I enjoy making other people happy with little acts of kindness.
As I am happy with the person I am I don't mind laughing about myself. By the way, sometimes I can be really clumsy :D.
I am a very thankful girl that would never leave without saying "Thank you".

My life-goals are:

* discover what I really want to do in my future (I have no idea about my future)

* lots of guinea pigs

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm on Couchsurfing because I would like to see different/new places through the eyes of a local.
And because I'm a uni student who needs to look for a budget-friendly option which also enables me to meet many people and share/make some experiences with them.

Music, Movies, and Books

I know it sounds mainstream, but I really listen to every kind of music (except traditional German music) from Hardcore, Metal, Rock, Punk, Punkrock to Country, Pop, House... However, the song I would describe as 'my favorite song' is "Rebell" by the German punkrock-band "die ärzte". It means 'rebel' in english (quiet obvious, I know) and it helped me to survive the school during my puberty (because I was called a freak, but I loved/still love being a freak).
My favorite movies are (of course) Harry Potter and The Lord of the Rings. And maybe the Twilight-Saga.. What a shame! :D But I was young. I also like the movies 'Pretty Woman', 'AI. Artificial Intelligence', 'The Fault in Our Stars' and a lot more. And last but not least I absolutly adore the series 'Scrubs' and especially 'Game of Thrones'!!
I enjoy reading thrillers but basically I love every book. That's maybe connected with my passion for words. Now, my goal is to read all 'Artemis Fowl' books in english. Which is sometimes hard to understand but I already started the third book.
