I might be a late bloomer. Better late than never...I am a mother of two teenaged kids, who are great people. I like people. Some things I find interesting are, sustainability, art, music, plants, rocks (pretty ones), self built houses ( cob, earth-bag, straw bale) yurts, and caravans. I enjoy biking, reading, dancing, talking and listening. I also love cities, possibilities, and spontaneity and newness, that is, new to me-ness, old stuff is awesome and sustainable, usually.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I think there is no better way to experience a place than with the aid of a local, and I believe in the goodness of people who share themselves, and their homes with fellow travelers who crave a different experience than a typical tourist. I let the expense of typical travel be an obstacle to seeing the world, and through this community, I realize I don't have to. I want to participate in this community because it connects people, and I believe we need to trust and connect with each other.
