About Me

CURRENT MISSION

My mission is to learn more about myself aswell as other countries and cultures. Also to explore the world and escape my little shoe box which is my life

ABOUT ME

I love a bit of everything to be honest. Love culture, arts, history. Definitely love to hear and learn about new and differnet things. Love to go out and have good times with people. Whether that be a quite lunch/dinner or a night out on the town. Love the company of other people. Also like quiet times. Quiet mornings, walks etc. I'm really quite easy to get along with. Once you get through that door that is my mind, I'm very much an open book. I treat everyone with respect as long as I get it back in return. But as I've said, I'm not the hardest to get along with :)

PHILOSOPHY

If it looks good, you'll see it. If it sounds good, you'll hear it. If it's marketed right, you'll buy it. But if it's real, you'll feel it.

Who you choose to be around you lets you know who you are.

Treat people how you wish to be treated.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Well, this is my first trip away from family basically. So plan is to spread my wings and learn a whole heap about myself and and others. Also learn about differnt countries and embrase the travel bug. And also spread the word to others about CouchSurfing if its a positive experience, which I'm sure it will be.

Interests

I'm into everything to be honest. Big part of my life is music. Can't live without it in some way, shape or form. Into any sort of music. Theory is that I'll find a least 1 good thing about any song. Maybe a beat, riff, chorus etc. Studies all forms of art in high school also so I'm into galleries etc. Into night life, markets and anything that stimulates the mind.

Music, Movies, and Books

This is gonna be a long read haha
Music: As per before, I'm into everything and anything music related. Pop to punk, rock to jazz, metal to hip hop, rap to dance. Only real catogory of music I'm not that into would be country yet there's some I like. Love my old school 60s-90s music and also new stuff. I'll find something good in someones music collection. Love local bands too. Honestly, I love a good group singalong. Always good times and it also drowns out my really bad singing voice haha.

Movies: Once again, too much variety here. Comedy, Action, Drama, Suspence. I love a good horror but I don't as I'm a bit of a pansy. Nothing wrong with that though hehe. Once again though, love a bit of the old and the new. Love my cheesy sport movies, biopics, cop/bad guy movies but nothing beats a good old fashioned laugh. Snatch would have to be one of my all time favs though.

Books: Was never an avid reader but have slowly grown into enjoying it. Prefer my autobiographys to be honest, but love a good thriller/drama.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Most amazing thing I've seen is hands down the Terracotta warriors in China. By far the most amazing thing I've ever seen. I think my jaw hit the ground as soon as I entered the exhibit. The amount of warriors there and how detailed they were. Simply amazing. Each face was different too. Like they were actually people!!!
Also the Great Wall was amazing. The climb was tiring yet the views were awesome. It was a cloudy not so clear day but you could still see alot of the wall itself.
Seeing an actual Muay Thai kickboxing event in Thailand. Yes it is a sport and is violent, but the culture surrounding it, the atmosphere and the respect is just something else. Never witnessed anything like it. I've been in stadiums which fit over 90,000 people but in this little concrete stadium which could fit 2000 at the most all cramped up, words can't describe the energy in that place. I actually came back to the hotel with this massive buzz.
