About Me
ABOUT ME
Spontaneous, yet incredibly lazy
PHILOSOPHY
Never give up and never think something through!
(taken from the german dubbed simpsons and retranslated into english by me)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
WHY I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I started because I really needed a place to sleep in a new city (hostels were full), then I sort of forgot about it...
Now I really like the concept and have an open eye for opportunities.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
So far only two stays. One was desperate (and turned out awesome) and one was deliberate and "planned". Both were great :)
Interests
Internet, graphic design, my cute little laptop, friends, good music, good books (although I don't have much time to read by now) and so on, to cut it short: I like things to spend time with, like everyone I guess...
- books
- design
- graphic design
- cooking
- music
Music, Movies, and Books
Movies: Garden State, the Dark Knight, Darjeeling limited, Wer früher stirbt ist länger tod
Worst Movie ever (so far): an inconvenient truth
Music: to begin with a: Ärzte, goes one with cursive and many, many more...
Books: uff, difficult, but I like the many german words in the english version of bourne ultimatum ;)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
It might only be amazing stupid, but I travelled without a dollar in my pocket and without any idea what to do to sydney... (I had money, but the wrong currency, I didn't even think about changing some...)
Without a good friend I travelled with (she knew what to do, but had only planned for herself) I would have been totally lost....
Teach, Learn, Share
I know how to make spätzle, some programming, some language stuff and lots of useless facts...
What I Can Share with Hosts
- Some cooking stuff that might not be common knowledge
- Interest (and thus at least basic knowledge) in non mainstream topics
- Stories, that might or might not be true ;)
