ABOUT ME

I am a very outgoing, friendly, patient, and respectful person. I am a courteous and mindful guest, and believe in doing whatever I can to be helpful and pleasant company for my hosts, whether I'm staying with family or friends. I was raised overseas as an Army brat, and lived in Germany for about 20 years. I am a Christian, pro-military, pro-establishment, and conservative, but I can still relax and have a great time with just about anyone.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I originally started this account to explore a new means for travel and meeting great people! Currently I am in Indianapolis, IN, having just been let go from my company position with Celadon. Not for anything that should even merit it, either. I have a beautiful Staffordshire Bull Terrier who is sweet and gentle, and loves virtually anything with a pulse. I don't have the means for a hotel at the moment, so while the company is yet allowing me to remain on the property, I am scrambling to find alternative accomodations while also lining up another job. Hoping to find someone who can graciously open their doors to me and my fur baby for just a few nights, until I am confirmed and scheduled for orientation with one of the companies I'm currently waiting on approval from!

Interests

I don't depend on others to entertain me; if a friend has to work while I'm at his/her place, I'll just be happy to chill out on the couch and watch t.v. or even tidy up the place a bit. I enjoy vegging out on my laptop, watching horror movies, playing video games, and lounging by a pool. I also love being active and outdoors, whether going for a hike, swimming at the lake or beach, or going for a drive down a back country road. I've even gone mudding on the back of a friend's 4-wheeler on the banks of the Rio Grande after a heavy rainfall, and kayaking in the Big Bend region on a volunteer cleanup crew. I love to read, listen to good music, share a meal and a few drinks, meeting new people from all walks of life, travelling, and the arts - whether at a play, a musical, the symphony, or an awesome live band at a local watering hole. I am very content in life as long as I have the right company, and I can have fun in virtually any situation!
