Overview
About Me
Hello, my name is ber, I am from Mexico / California, I grew up in both territories, so I am fluent in Spanish / English.
I am moving to New York City in August to attend an MFA program in fiction and arts writing!
I am a calm, easy-going, and sensible person who knows how to respect boundaries. I have a genuine ability to connect, listen, and share with others.
I taught language and literature for 8 years, and my job involved helping people tell stories or figure out what story they want to tell, write, sing, or explore in art mediums.
I love talking about art, literature, history, culture, and everything in between!
Love to walk, hang out, and ride bicycles 😇😇😇
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I am looking to find a secure and permanent place in NYC while I attend my graduate program :)
In the meantime, I am hoping to find temporary places where I can stay and work while going to school :)
I also have an apartment located in Tijuana, Mexico, right across the U.S.-Mexico border, so I'm happy to accomodate people travelling there as well :)
