Like so many other people I enjoy to meet new people and discover new things, places, thinkings, books, cultures, way to live... in short, I like to learn. Is there any link with the fact that I'm teaching for a living..? Hmm, could be!

Some topics are deeply meaningful for me as the well being of sensitive beings (I don't eat animals), the respect of my surrounding (both people and environment) and open-mindedness.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I don't quite remember how I started to use CS : it was during my Erasmus in Istanbul but I do not know from where that idea came from. I just remember using it for my first travel alone along the North coast of Turkey and that was quite an experience.
The more I grow, the more I understand and need more than a touristic guide to visit a place, indeed I believe it is not simply about visiting but about meeting, understanding and feeling. That what travel means for me and I don't see myself doing it another way.

Interests

There are a lot of things I could mention here, except maybe metal music that I don't manage to connect with even though I tried to several times...

In this moment of my life, hiking and food are my main topics. As I wrote before, I do a vegetarian diet and trying new restaurants is a real pleasure for me. In food I look for truth : local ingredients possibly from organic or conscious farms and cooked with attention. I don't understand why you should consume nuts from accross the ocean. Actually being coherent is my main topic ! Which I am challenging by travelling consciously : no plane, no Airbnb, no Club med ... and anything that cut you out of reality.
