About Me

ABOUT ME

Team-spirit, results oriented, eager to progress.... oups.... the question sounded like those pathetic clichés that you have to serve during job interviews....Hummm....
Let's cut the crap : what is the salary ?

PHILOSOPHY

Even a stopped clock gives the right time twice a day. i never knew exactly what it meant but sounds so good

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

hosted twice in Lyon. Funny experiences. Never been hosted so far

Interests

almost anything if i'm drunk. If i'm sober and i get cultural mainly cinema (Ford/Cassavetes/Malick this kind of stuff) , litterature (mainly Ellroy and L.F.Celine, and In Cold blood which i red almost 10 times) and late 90's indie music, Pixies, My Bloody Valentine, The Sneetches, Palace Brothers and all sorts of shoeegazing bands). If i'm in the right mood, politics and social issues. And something quite embarrassing but has to be confessed : 70's and 80's motoracing because it's one my first and strongest souvenir, something that my father deeply inculcated in me and some memories i try to catch by travelling around Europe in search of "classic" races.
Talking about travelling, that's probably what i enjoy the most and having been raised, like most europeans, with american culture (junk and good one), i want to travel around the places i've been dreaming about (high plains, Louisiana, San Francisco, Nashville and so on).
Travelling aside, my main interest is eating... which for a divorced guy that has been raised in France, Spain and Italy, means cooking.
A lot. And pretty well by the way.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Nothing amazing i guess but my best moments are :
- first time i saw Lauda's helmet through an Armco
- first time i saw the sun rising on Canencia hills (north of Madrid)
- First time i heard "Surfer Rosa"
- First time i drank a beer
- Cycling up the Olympus Mount with a friend (and crashing while hurtling down)
- Last Jeff Nichol's movie (Mud)
- First time i tested "Testaroli", kind of very very thin pancake filled with parmigiano that is made in the Cinque Terre area, nearby Genova.

Teach, Learn, Share

i can teach spanish, italian and french cooking (and swear words, generally while cooking), all sort of clumsy DIY techniques, how to trail brake and almost anything you could possibly know about me but don give a dam about.
