I study Biology at METU which is in the capital of Turkey. Normally I live in İstanbul. I have a cat. Me and my girlfriend are planning to make an interrail joerney. So currentl,y I won’t be able to accept guest but later. I made an exchange year in Hamburg/Germany and willing learn new people, cultures, languages.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My girlfriend and I will make a Europe with via interrail, we want to meet with new people from different cultures and also believe that the best way to visit a place is to do it with local people. I personally don’t enjoy feeling like tourist. This app seems like a great solution.

Music, Movies, and Books

I listen to rock, metal and sometimes other genres as well. I’ve been to lots of concerts and festivals in Turkey, also Wacken in Germany. This summer Sziget Festival in Budapest is on my list. I love watching movies a lot!!! Thus, I have a movie collection consisting of more than 300 movies. For books, I’m really into classics and sometimes fantasy “huge fan of Harry Potter”.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

At the age of 17, I went to Germany for my exchange year. That year, I’ve changed a lot and my interest in new cultures became the most important thing in my life.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I love cooking so I can cook Turkish food. Also I’m really interested in history and politics. As a former exchange student, I’d love to share my culture with people.
