I'm an outgoing, ambitious and curious guy who loves traveling and seeing new places and new people.

I have my own place. If you come and visit, there will be an excuse for me to clean up...

I've been a lot of different places in Europe, but Africa (except Egypt), Asia and South America are unexplored so far.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My former roommate and I have had a few couchsurfers so far, and every time it's been very positive and interesting. It's like inviting a little bit of a different country in to your home. My roommate has most of the feedback from people, since he has done most of the practical stuff (see Simon's profile under Friends).

I have couchsurfed a few times, weekends in Berlin, election in Los Angeles, a nice lunch in Bahrain with a couchsurfer... does that count?

Music, Movies, and Books

I read a lot of different stuff, but there is a special place in my heart for sci-fi (Arthur C. Clarke, Neil Stephenson, Wlliam Gibson).

I'm a bit of a movie buff, and I try to cover as many genres as possible. Favourites include Grizzly Man, Control, 2001 and Army of Darkness!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

There was that one time in Amsterdam, and New York and Stuttgart and Cairo and... Some people tell jokes, I tell long-winded stories of late-night adventures. When we meet, remind me to tell you one.

Teach, Learn, Share

If it wasn't for the pollution of it, I would say that cheap air travel will save the world. Meeting people from other countries in person and seeing where they live instantly kills prejudice and animosity.
