After being a housewife (not a very good one ;-/) and bringing up my two kids for over 20 years (not too badly I think :) ), I am back to 'adventure'.😊 Which is meeting new (young) people, going to clubs, traveling on my own, sometimes by train (like I did as a student 😊), going camping, learning Italian.. aand considering couchsurfing, which is probably a bit unusual for my age.😉
Apart from that I am trying to finish of my training as an art-therapist, like to be creative making things and like gardening.
My wish to become an art-therapist is probably a consequence of me being interested in all different sorts of people and what they are like, 'inside', and why they are who they are, as well as being sort of creative and a wish to help people that suffer in some way or another.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I got registered when I was planning to go to Italy in July 2018 and wanted to meet people to talk to to practice my Italian. ;)

Meantime already hosted a few people and showed them round Vienna. 🙂

At the moment (that moment was in 2018+ ;) ) I like the new Jovanotti album a lot as well as some other songs of his (besides I adore him as a person! ..with his joy for life, his spirit, his idealism and optimism, ...) amongst many other pieces of music from the last 80 years of popular music, from Ella Fitzgerald, Louis Armstrong, Billy Holiday, ... to Nora Jones, Jazon Mraz, ... to Ed Sheeran, Macklemore, ... to AnnenMayKantereit, Cro, Trettmann, ... Leftboy, ... to Ostbahn Kurti, Bilderbuch and other Austrians ..... not to forget Lina Louise!! ;-)

Helping an Afghan refugee boy with school and life matters. (Trying to do my part of integration, as I believe many more people should do!

A trip to Cinque Terre (Italy) on my own in my little red car. :)) ..with several over night stops to see people I know , on the way there as well as on the way back.

Going around Neusiedlersee on the bycicle in a couple of hours (Radmarathon) - a looong time ago.

I can offer you a bed in a separate room in my little country house in a quite nice piece of nature . - The thing you should know is that it takes you about half an hour by public to get to the city center and another 20 - 40 minutes to get to the train or bus. But most likely we'll find an arrangement so that I can take you to the train or even to town in the car. 🙂
