Introverted interests: reading, binge-watching good tv shows, playing piano and guitar alone, computer gaming and programming.
Extroverted interests: talking, joking around, making fun of movies, bocce, wandering around town (while talking, of course), going out to dinner, sometimes hiking, going to the pub, education.

Be warned: I have strong opinions on many topics, and will talk for hours about things like math, evolution, religion, life extension, cryonics, Artificial Intelligence, practical philosophy, general science, and AD&D to name a few.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I went on a walk one winter, very late at night. I think I was angry about something and was trying to blow off steam. I ended up at the lookout on a small hill, when a ring of pillars of light formed directly above my head. They were many different colors, but glowed very brightly white. I know they were just the aurora, but I couldn't help but feeling as if the whole pantheon of Norse gods was looking down at me, telling me to calm the hell down. It was beautiful.

I have a passion for math that I am always happy to share. That is, I love to share the passion AND the math.

I love sharing my esoteric computer quirks. Maybe there's something we can trade there.

While I'm not an expert, I have spent a lot of time thinking about the philosophy of religion, science, and knowledge. I think I can give you an acceptable rendition of the Deduction of Evolution by Natural Selection on a bar napkin, if given the chance.
