Overview
About Me
I'm a sociology student at Bogazici University, in Turkey. Last summer in the US, I worked as a lifeguard. I see myself as a quiet, curious, reflective, introspective person who has abandoned social norms and polished their edges. I'm always up for absurd conversations.
For my last sociology final paper, I've written about furries' sexuality. This semester, I've created a website that adapts Rice Purity Test into my college's lore.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Like most people, my main concerns were financial at the beginning. However, after my couchsurf I've noticed that by doing so I was gaining priceless experiences. Being on here gives me the chance to meet extraordinary people and broaden my horizon.
Interests
I love learning about new cultures. I love Japanese pop-culture, and learning Japanese at the moment. I also have a thing for fringe subcultures. Other than that, I have a myriad of minor interests: psychology, graphic design, popular science, cooking, video games.

I don't see movies too often, I'm a victim of ADHD and post-modern burned dopamine receptors. I'm an anti-cinephil, both by nature and nurture.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I've tried bull's penis, pig feet with its hoofs on, some edible insects and many more quirky stuff in my visit to the USA.
I've visited the Sex Museum in the NYC, and won a penis ring from one of the arcade games, competing with other visitors. One of my freakiest experiences yet.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can teach you about Turkish culture, and help you speak Turkish. Advanced speakers would benefit from that more.
