ABOUT ME
Phone: 951-809-2241
I'm a 24 yr old male working in tech. Studied economics and I am really passionate about natural resources and the environment.
First got into couch surfing when living in Egypt and hosted travelers with my friend Luke Earley, also a couchsurfer on here. Hi Luke!
I'm about to travel to South Korea for a well earned vacation from all this tech craziness and to visit 3 friends who are teaching English in Busan.
Fun facts: gay (but not flamboyant), german/scottish/mexican heritage, environmentalist, I'm an excellent statistician, Cut Chemist is the best DJ ever
PHILOSOPHY
We are all on a journey, sometimes it makes sense to travel together, sometime it doesn't.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I hosted in Egypt and accepted others' generosity when I traveled through the Pacific Northwest in Summer-Fall 2010.
I'm looking to find a host in Korea soon.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I hosted many-a-couchsurfer while living in Egypt through my roommate's account. I was a great host too since I speak Arabic and lived on a sweet houseboat.
I was so moved by my hosts' generosity while traveling summer 2010.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I lived in Egypt for a year. I was part of the first student delegation to Gaza ever, after Israel's Operation Cast Lead in December-January 2008-2009. I ran the Oakland Marathon in 3:54:27
I was at UC Berkeley for a PhD in Economics and taught there, but left after my professor retired.
I moved a mountain one stone at a time.
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm looking for the widest breadth of experience possible. I'm hoping to learn about other cultures' perceptions of America and Americans and California and Californians. I can teach a lot about the Middle East, Arabic Language, World History, and Environmentalism, Math, and Programming.
