HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
GIVE and TAKE - Basis.
GIVE: we give a sleeping place , invite people, hope they gonna have an amazing stay here in Balsthal
When we have time, We show guests around in our area, do hiking trips, cook together.
TAKE: When We are travelling, we hope someone will do it the same way. This is, how the world works, how the interpersonal behavior always should be!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
We hosted already people and got wonderful experiences- got great new views and sights!
->three weeks language course in France and did 3 weeks couchsurfing! Came to know with amazing and great people! Never will miss that great experience!!!
I experienced just 1 weird Couchsurfing night in Paris...and when you make a weird experience the first time, sometimes you can't even act...when you realize, that you should just go away- it is sometimes too late-- late at night... outside of the city...so you stay. Make the best out of it. New country, new people, new system.

2 weeks holidays in sweden, in a house in the middle of the forrest: without water, electrizity, 13 miles away from the next village... it was awesome! a real experience
A trip from Hamburg to Berlin by bike! Nearly 500 km in 4 days, by my own-- but i was never alone, met a lot of interesting people, it was great!

I'm a trained confectioner, baker and confiseur with 13 years of working experience in 5 Star Hotels and Michelin-star-kitchens.
After this job and 3 years of studies at the university in food science and technology I work now in product development ( specialised on all kind of sauces and ice cream ) in an industrial company.
I like cooking and baking and I am happy to cook for you. Maybe we can also share some recipes and learn from each other.
