About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Going on 9 months of leave of absence from my office job to meet new people, learn new languages and look for beauty across the world!
ABOUT ME
Being a person of many interests (yoga, tango, salsa, playing the trumpet, photography), I usually have a lot of activities going on. I teach or dance Argentine tango four nights a week, and I do a similar amount of yoga.
When I travel, I look for new experiences and I love to meet local people, and if I can, I truly enjoy to speak the local language (although it is a lot of work for me to learn other languages, since I used to be a bit shy).
I'm not a party guy. I rarely drink a lot, I don't smoke, and I prefer places where the music is low enough to keep up a conversation.
Usually, I keep a positive, life-affirming attitude, accepting the world as it is.
I have been working a lot as a teacher (tango, maths at the university, science in secondary school). I really enjoy to share knowledge and I love taking any sort of classes myself.
PHILOSOPHY
I got into yoga a few years ago, and my philosophies are very much tuned in to that. The morals of non-violence and truthfulness mean a lot to me. The better listener I become, the more I feel I get out of my life.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I'm new to the project and is starting slowly, trying to feel out the atmosphere. I have heard so much good about CouchSurfing, though, so I'm very excited to see what it's like!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
None so far with this site! I have been surfing and offering my couch within tango and yoga communities, which is perhaps different since you usually know the people beforehand.

Music, Movies, and Books
I'm definitely open to new experiences. In my daily life, though, I'm kind of a snob when it comes to culture, so I usually prefer to read classics, listen to classical music, watch quality movies.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I spent over two years in Paris for studies, an internship and some free time. I loved immersing into a different culture, learning the language, trying new activities, and so on. I started dancing salsa and tango, which has been an inspiring part of my life since then.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach tango, salsa or juggling. I love to learn and I'm very grateful when I have the opportunity to take lessons or classes.
