About Me

I worked in constructions for 9 years until the end of 2014.
From 2015 to 2020 I spend most of my time traveling in South-East Asia, spending the summers with friends in Belgium or traveling through Portugal with Rita who I met in Thailand in 2017.
In the summer of 2020 we travelled with our van from Belgium to Portugal and that's where we now live with our 2 dogs and 2 cats.
We live Cepos, a village in the mountains in central Portugal, but we prefer to spend (most of) our time at our field in the valley of the Ceira river.
For the next 10-20 years we will slowly transform this rough piece of mountain into a abundant Permaculture site.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

It's a great way to meet new people and always the best way to be introduced to a new place/ country/ culture.
Saving some money on accommodation is also nice, but I'm more than happy to spend that money on making some food or doing something else in return.

For the moment I will not really use couch surfing to find hosts, but I would like to share a simple way of living where you can spend a quiet time away from (Western) life.
