Chi sono

We’re a married couple in our twenties, full of curiosity and love for people. We travel because we feel that every culture, every face, and every moment holds a story worth discovering. What we value most is real connection. We enjoy deep conversations, slow mornings, spontaneous laughter, and learning how others see the world.

We’re passionate about the spiritual dimension of life …the quiet, often unspoken layer of meaning behind gestures, beliefs, and identities. It’s something that inspires us deeply, even though we don’t tie it to one system or tradition. I studied theatre and work as a digital creator, while my husband is a product manager. We are also both photographers and lovers of the arts in all their forms.

Perché sono iscritto su Couchsurfing

I’d love to explore Asia more deeply, beyond what a tourist sees. I want to live experiences that bring me closer to people, rituals, flavors, conversations, and beliefs. I want to understand the world by stepping into it humbly and openly, one story at a time.

Interessi

I’m passionate about cultures, people’s stories, and everything that connects us as humans from food and art to conversation and shared silence. I love photography, theatre, dance, nature walks, and deep talks with strangers that don’t feel like strangers for long.

I’m curious about how people live, what they believe, what they cook, and how they love. Music and movement help me express what words sometimes can’t. I’m here because I believe the world becomes richer when we slow down enough to truly see each other.

Musica, film e libri

Music is a huge part of how I connect with the world. I express myself through dance and sound, and often feel that music helps me understand people more than words ever could.

As for movies…that’s a more nuanced story. Since I studied theatre, I’ve developed a very personal taste in film. I love depth, intention, and artistic storytelling. Some of my favorites are Memoirs of a Geisha and La Vita e Bella.

When it comes to books, I’m very drawn to ancient theatre texts, especially from Ancient Greece — they carry timeless insight into the human spirit. One book I return to constantly is the Bible. I study it with great interest, not only as a spiritual reference, but as a profound source of wisdom, history, and human emotion.

Una cosa incredibile che ho fatto

I managed to convince my mom to come with me to Japan and celebrate Easter there. She holds her Christian values close, so I found a church for us where we could truly mark the occasion together. It was a special moment a beautiful mix of tradition, love, and shared presence far from home.

Insegna, impara, condividi

I can share a lot about theatre, especially improvisational theatre and stage communication. I’d also be happy to talk about Romanian culture, our Balkan roots, and the layers of history that shaped our country. I’m always ready to learn anything and even more ready to share what I know.

Cosa posso offrire ai padroni di casa

I love cooking …and truly believe friendship begins at the table. Back home, people often gather around our dinners and stay for the conversation. That’s something I’d love to offer wherever I go. I’m open to sharing about myself, us (me and my hubby) my work, life in Romania, and also just listening and learning from those around us.
