About Me
🇧🇷
🇬🇧
Hello everyone !
I am Bertille, 29 y old French woman. I am back to Brazil after a few years to visit the State of Bahia. I arrive in Salvador and will follow the coast til Porto Seguro, with a stop in the Chapada Diamantina.
I have travelled a lot with Couchsurfing and met incredible people thanks to this app..
I consider myself as a dynamic person, always motivated to do or learn something new... I care a lot about culture and all that can be related to it, but I have also interests in many other areas.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Since the moment I discovered CS I couldn’t stop using it. France, Italy and then in my big trip in South America (Brasil, Argentina, Colombia..), I had such wonderful experiences with people I will never forget, and with whom I shared so much and learned from as well.
This is how I enjoy travelling when I’m alone, and also sometimes with a friend if he/she’s in the same mood.
People make my travel, not only places!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Discovering, travelling and living in Brazil.
I spent 4 days on the Amazon, sleeping in a hammock on a boat from Leticia to Manaus with dozens of people around me.
I went on a 3-days mototrip in Colombia with a complete stranger I had met the morning we left, we explored all Antioquia across moutains and rivers and slept with indigenous of the region.
Once I jumped from a 12 meters high cliff in Finland, right into the cold water (btw this country is extraordinary), and I couldn't even explain how free I felt at this moment.
Teach, Learn, Share
Sharing our different stories, who we are and what we like so that we can learn and take the best from each other !
What I Can Share with Hosts
Good food and good conversations about life, cultures, travelling and everything that could keep us interested. I can talk about anything, and laugh about anything too.
I really appreciate learning new languages and teaching the ones I know as well. And if you play guitar I’ll be glad to sing for you and learn how to play (I’ve been really bad at it so far)
Countries I’ve Visited
Argentina, Austria, Brazil, Cambodia, Colombia, Denmark, England, Finland, Greece, Indonesia, Ireland, Italy, Morocco, Norway, Scotland, Spain, Thailand, Turkey, United Kingdom, United States
