About Me

My friends would probably describe me as an open minded, sociable and deep person. I love learning new things, thinking and having meaningful conversations.

In general, I do not see life as a one way road but rather a sequence of different experiences.
In the last 5 years I lived in Munich, Malaysia, México City, Singapore, Sydney and finally stranded in London where I currently live with my French and English Flatmate.

When Couchsurfing I don't want make any effort to the host or disturb into his daily life. I can very well look after myself and at the same time enjoy exchanging with the host, discussing ideas, having a meal together or sharing a glass and tell from my experiences.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I deeply believe that the more impressions and different peoples opinions I can soak up, the better I can reflect on myself and ultimately better understand my life and make better decisions for life. This makes me a happier person. And like that I can be a better person for all the people in my environment.

With Couchsurfing I can experience all these different influences by talking to new people and getting to know them. I have however hardly used Couchsurfing in the past. The major reason is because I was very often staying with friends of friends that I knew from one of my travel/living abroad experiences. For the last 10 years I have always lived in shared flats, mostly together with people with an international background.

Because of these experiences I want to further immerse myself and explore Couchsurfing in a deeper way.

Music, Movies, and Books

At the moment my favourite band is the babyshambles (an indie rock band from Brittain), but I love also funk, rock, classic rock, alternative, indie, rock-hip hop-crossover

I love movies that make me think about them for the next three days, like shutter island, american psycho, pulp fiction, mullholand drive...

There are some books that really influenced me like most books of Hermann Hesse (Sidharta, Steppenwolf, Narziss & Goldmund) or Faust from Goethe, 1984 of Orwell. But I also love Harry Potter, which I am currently reading in Spanish to practice my language skills
