ABOUT ME

I have always loved to travel and through my travels I have discovered who I am. I know it sounds hokey, but it's true. And it wasn't the destination that helped me with that discovery, though it is what inspired the adventure, it was the way I got there. If I can help it I take the most scenic route possible. I never thought about it before, but slowly I began to realize that that was where my spirit felt most alive. With that realization I found an amazing passion to protect the natural world not only for myself, but for our future. I know it sounds idealistic and crazy, maybe a little self righteous, but I truly want to preserve this amazing, beautiful world for us all to travel and enjoy.

PHILOSOPHY

Let's get along and not judge each other the best we can until we know each other better.
God is in nature, we are part of nature, we must protect ourselves, therfore, we must protect nature.

Interests

Traveling obviously. Mountains, trees, plants, birds, nature in general, and preserving it any way I can. Photography -- give me a great view with good lighting and I'll take a billion pictures. Music and finding the ultimate playlist. Anything UK related (and I'm not talking about the school).

Music, Movies, and Books

I love most music, pretty much the only one I'm not a fan of is rap. Any music someone is willing to give me I accept, I love learning about new artists!
Movies: I tend to lean more towards comedies, especially romantic comidies. I know, I know, what a girl. I do love a good action movie, too though. My top favorites at the moment are The Fifth Element and the remake of The Italian Job.
I'm kind of everywhere when it comes to books, a bit like my music. I am always compiling a list of books to read.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've been some pretty amazing places, but my most recent trip that stole my heart was when I traveled the Oregon Trail back to my home in Nashville after living in Seattle for a spell. If anyone is ever thinking of taking the Oregon Trail, I highly recommend it!
