I got my BA with a focus in creative writing from the Evergreen State College in 2015 . I'm an aspiring children's novelist with two part-time jobs that I love. My non-literary interests include arts and crafts, the Muppets, and all things colorful and absurd.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

This will be my second year attending the Pacific Northwest Writers Association conference in Seattle. I'm pursuing Couchsurfing instead of a hotel because I love meeting new people, and I believe in the principles of community and sharing. I'd rather give my time and company to a new friend than a corporate hotel chain.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One of my favorite adventures was in Kauai in May 2015, where I faced my fear of heights by going on a tour of the Na'Pali Coast in a helicopter with NO DOORS and a ziplining tour that ended in an 1800-foot-long zipline.
