ABOUT ME

I'm a qualified primary school teacher who's currently being an au pair and learning French in Luxembourg. When you first meet me I can be a little quiet, but after about 5 minutes that changes! I think the best words to describe me would be; kind; good cook (two words I know!); and cheerful/smiley. I love adventures and love to experience new places. I also love meeting new people and getting to know everyone!

None of my own yet! But I have friends who thoroughly recommend it, and have met some awesome people who they've hosted.

Interests

I love photographs. They might be taken with my phone or my camera but I love them either way. My camera always comes out with me to snap anything beautiful, or interesting (or both). I also love being outside, when I lived in the Lake District this meant exploring the mountains or the rivers, and now I live in Luxembourg this means exploring the small, but beautiful, city I now call home.

I also love baking, knitting and reading (next thing I need to buy is a Kindle so I don't have to cart so many books around!)

Books - anything from Mountaineering books to chicklit.

Movies - I'm as happy watching a mountaineering film (like The Asgard Project) to something soppy like 'One Day'

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Gosh, so many moments have left me awestruck. And they were mainly all in the mountains! A beautiful sunrise or turning a corner and being face to face with a huge red deer stag!

I think the best thing I've ever done is moved abroad! If I can do it anyone can!
