One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Scuba diving with the manta rays off the Big Island. Working at Kokee Lodge on Kauai. Horseback riding through the surf on Barbados. Zip-ling through the canopy on St.Lucia. Spent some time on Adak, Alaska. Drove a 54 foot crew-cab pick-up and fifth-wheel 14,700 miles around the US and Canada. Hitch-hiked around the US and Canada. Got married on the beach south of Playa del Carmen, Mexico. Got married on skies at Alpine Meadows, North Shore Lake Tahoe. River rafting on Cache Creek. Ballooning over Sonoma County, California. Helicopter tour over Kauai. Glider ride over Oahu. Dropped out of high school and later received a master's degree. Gave birth to two of the most amazing young men. Have seen too many concerts to mention. Sailed off Lahaina. Hiked the Kalalau Trail and camped on Hanakapiai Beach. Spent six weeks in Nicaragua living with a local family. Trip to the Peruvian Amazon for wildlife viewing. Jumped out of a perfectly good airplane. Been honored to be present at both the beginning of life and at the very end.
