About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Explore the country and make a difference where and when I can. Also studying for the GREs to get myself to grad school sooner than later in the field of forest ecology.

ABOUT ME

I like to consider myself an open person with diversified interests. I graduated in May from the University of Vermont with a major in forest ecology and minor in ecological agriculture - I'm a plant fanatic. I love to travel, do anything concerning the outdoors, see live music and make new friends.

PHILOSOPHY

Life is meant to be lived with a fire. If something becomes dull, or becomes obsolete, there is no point in what you are doing. Passion perpetuates my will to continue on, and adventure is often the fuel to that fire. I want to contribute to the goodness of the world and find my true self in the process.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I stayed on an amazing lady's couch in Portland, Oregon for a few nights. It was a wonderful experience, she was such a kind host and made me a cake since I happened to be there on my birthday, and showed me some of the city. I'm always excited to see where I'll end up next!

Interests

New music, all kinds of arts and crafting (but I'm best at throwing pottery), people, reading, philosophy, good bud, going out, exploring, adventuring, learning guitar

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Thrown myself to the world through hitchhiking, learning the stories of random people and feeling fully free.

Teach, Learn, Share

My specialty is tree identification (mostly eastern species, though)

What I Can Share with Hosts

Besides stories and friendship, I like to be a good guest who cleans and cooks and helps with any on-going projects.
