ABOUT ME

Hey,
I am originally from a small village in the Netherlands, but moved to Glasgow to study. I am currently studying Veterinary Bioscience at the University of Glasgow. I love animals, going to gigs and festivals, playing sports, meeting people and spontaneous adventures. Being an international student I also love learning about other cultures. I hope to meet a lot of amazing people, have some unforgettable adventures and lots of laughs.
I am currently doing a work placement abroad for a year in Tampere, Finland.

PHILOSOPHY

Live life as best you can, all upsets happen for a reason, so live life to full, see the best in everything and you only have one life so get the most out of it.

I want to help people experience the places I love by letting them stay with me and showing them all my favourite places, and hope to be able experience other backgrounds, cultures and passions.

I have done some hosting and some surfing and can't wait for more adventures to happen.

Interests

My interests are far and wide but a few of the key ones are;
Sports, such as horse-riding, basketball, snowboarding, ice skating, surfing and many more.
Music, mostly going to gigs and festivals, listening to live music and having a good time.
Animals, all types from the fluffy and cute to the prickly.
Good food, both eating out and cooking.
Science, bit of a nerd when it comes to science.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love a wide range of movies, anything from fight club to pixar movies.
My taste in music is quite varied and love discovering new types of music and artists.
Books, ill read almost anything, but particularly enjoy novels.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The most amazing thing i have witness, is the trust and unconditional love given by animals towards humans is awe-inspiring and never seizes to amaze me.

Teach, Learn, Share

Being a bit of a pit of useless and unusual facts I could teach people lots of little things about very random stuff, that might come in handy one day. Pub quizzes, maybe?
I would love to learn anything people can teach me, especially about new cultures or just random awesome things.
