I'm a traveler at heart but have settled down a bit in Vancouver, BC. I still like to get out and backpack when I can. Just hit country #49. Love biking, hiking, reading, strategic board games, dancing and meeting new people.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I primarily enjoy the social network and surf occasionally when away from home. I could be open to hosting but don'thave an open enough schedule to advertise.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Wonderful! You meet such interesting people and the best part is that you already know you've got something in common with them. So far I've surfed under 10 times and never hosted, but I hope more (or some) of both are in my future!

I like movies that make you think or just give you a warm fuzzy feeling. I'm interested in rock, some pop, 80s music and just about all dance music. I like to read historical novels, the occasional romance, some popular books and writers who weave fascinating stories.

I love animals, so here are a few facts. Grown giraffes have no real predators as they are just too big to take down. Hippos can run at an increadible speed of 40 mph. There are 6 foot long salamanders in some of the bodies of water in Asia.
