ABOUT ME

My husband says I have "the fever". The traveling fever. The I haven't been anyplace in two months and want to go someplace new, fever. I love to go, but I love to come home. After a few days, I'm ready to come home.

PHILOSOPHY

Energy is wasted on youth. Retirement is wasted on old people.

Interests

To say Martin has an interest in records is a bit of an understantment considering he has over 100,000 and is a curator of a collection of another 200,000. He also plays fiddle and trombone and messes around on other instruments.

Music, Movies, and Books

We love the Harry Potter books and movies. Also the Lord of the Rings, Chronicles of Narnia and don't forget Twilight.

Martin's movies are both the 1937 & 1973 versions of Lost Horizon. At the moment he listens to lots of pre 1930s era pop, jazz, art songs, some opera and traditional christian and gospel hymns, anthems and sermons.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Standing in Times Square at 10:00 at night was the coolest thing ever. The whole city seemed alive.
