Overview
About Me
I'm a expat living and working in Tokyo as an engineer. I was born and raised in Mexico, and lived in the U.S. during a 3-year job assignment, before finally deciding to move to japan (for good?). I've been here roughly for 3 years now.
As a foreigner, my view of the country might be a bit different to that of the locals. However, my relationship with Japan and its people started almost a decade ago when I came for the first time as an exchange student, and ever since I kept coming back either on business trips or to visit friends. I can speak the language at a decent level so this allows me to explore territories of Japan and the culture that are usually not easily accessible to some foreigners living here.
By the way, I'm not a fan of anime or videogames. I don't have anything against them, it's just that I don't know much about them.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Climb Mt Fuji under heavy rain during the midnight, reaching the summit on time for the sunrise
Teach, Learn, Share
Cooking mexican and some japanese dishes. Can help you practice spanish, english, and could teach you the very basics of japanese language.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can give you tips on what to do in Tokyo and where to hang out.
On weekdays I'm usually at work in the morning, but I can do my best to be available some evenings for dinner/drinks. If you let me know with enough time, I can also reserve a weekend and take you to short tours/trips in Tokyo and the surrounding areas.
I have a great and international group of friends composed of japanese, peruvians, taiwanese, chinese, americans.... we go to soccer games, festivals, cruises and throw amazing parties. We're always happy to meet new people regardless of nationality!
