I'm Swiss, but moved to Glasgow in 2007 and lived there until January 2013.

Travelling in West Africa and India, then around Canada and the US and Central America until December 2014.

Currently back in Switzerland

It's always better on holiday, that's why we only work when we need the money.

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Me and three friends couchsurfed 3 nights in Amsterdam and 7 nights in Paris in July 2007. Great fun.
When I first moved to Glasgow I was couchsurfing, which was a good way to settle in a new city.

The last few years I've mostly hosted/stayed with friends and family.

10 days couchsurfing trip in Portugal in Oct/Nov 2012, great way to see a country where I didn't really know anyone.

Since January 2013, I've been travelling, and couchsurfing whenever possible in various parts of the world.

Intereses

Being with friends, movies, reading, music, le Roi Soleil, languages, second hand shops, discovering new places, taking pictures, going to festivals and concerts, and lots of other things.

Music: I don't listen to music, I dance to it.

Books: some Schillers, Master and Margarita by Bulgakov, Harold and Maude, the Harry Potters, Globi, Cien Años de Soledad, Winnie-the-Pooh, The Virgin Suicides, To Kill a Mockingbird, Astrid Lindgrens…

I attended a chief's funeral in a village in Ghana as part of the royal family. Long story.

I can teach you how to
- dance a Viennese waltz
- knit a balaclava
and some German swear words, for the really ambitious ones among you Swiss German ones.
