ABOUT ME

I grew up in Graz, Austria and I was raised to be very openminded and easygoing, and I love meeting new people and exploring different countries and cultures.
Recently I'm living in Vienna and am studying Environment and Bio Ressource Management.
I spent a big part of my life abroad, including an exchange year in high school and almost 2 years of traveling and working in South America.
I guess that's the reason why traveling is so essential for me, and it usually doesn't take long until i get itchy feet again.
I like to be around people, to go out and party, but I also enjoy calm (or adventurous) days somewhere out of town (woods, mountains, rivers...) by myself or with others.
There are lots of things I enjoy (see interests) and I'm always open to try something new.
What might be important on here is, that I'm a vegetarian (or at least I was, before I came to Peru) and I like to cook :)

Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin

i think it's an amazing possibility to get in touch witch locals while traveling and be able to explore the places from different perspective than just the outside touristy one.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Until now,I've mostly been surfing but I really want to start hosting more frequently as soon as I have my own place to live.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Surfed during my travels across the United States and a little bit in South America and had lots of good times!

Interessen

right now i spend most of my free time with climbing or hiking, but there are lots of things i enjoy, especially while traveling :)

I'm always happy when I get the chance to try or learn something new :D

Musik, Filme und Bücher

I love to read, and eventhough I don't play an instrument (yet) I love listening to music.
My taste in music, movies and books is very wideranged and I'm open for pretty much anything.

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

i experienced a tropic flooding in bolivia, and had the chance to go and visit indegionous communities with a team of doctors.

the first mountain i climbed was 5,680 meters high, and i never thought i would make it but i did!

love to learn anything!

i can teach some handicrafting, climbing, cooking, spanish and german and tell you a lot of travel stories :)

i would love to share a good hike, a movie and some hot chocolate or a night out having a good cold beer!
