Hey there,

my name is betty and I love traveling, even though I havn't seen nearly as much as I want to see from this quite nice planet we're living on. Especially I love the feeling to wake up in a new place where I've never been before.

10 years of my life I wasted in school until I dropped it. (I don't think that school provides a good way of education. In general.) Ever since I'm trying to reintegrate in society.
And I think Couchsurfing is a great way to do so ;)

I'm a bit homeless at the moment so unfortunately I'm not really able to host. But as soon as I happen to stay in a place with a spare couch you are more than welcome to crash on it ;)

... just kidding ;D I just read already so many nice texts in this topic that I don't really know what else to write, that wasn't written a thousend times yet... So just let me say: I always try to get as much input an give as much output as I can and Couchsurfing seems to me a good way to do so.
And (as I mentioned before) I love travelling and meeting new people and new cultures!!

兴趣

I don't think I'm able to sum up everything I'm interested in here, cause it's quite a lot!! But here are a couple of examples for you: history, politics, languages (espacially the ones I understand ;D), music, activism, just beeing creative in any imaginable way, listening to people who are playing guitar, playing guitar my self even though there is no one who wants to listen to that (what's a really good decision btw.).
And yes, like pretty much everyone else here, I'm interested in new people and cultures, which is (one of) the reason(s) why I'm here.

Music - everything that sounds good to me (especially rock, punk, ska,...) you want examples?? Ok, here they are: The the, Queen, depeche mode, the smiths, the cure, joy division, new order, ska-p, the Black Keys, faber, die ärzte, ministri, johnny cash, annenmaykantereit, radiohead etc...
And generally I think that every song in which appears just a single spanish or italian word automatically is a great one ;)

Movies - the gods must be crazy, la chèvre, go Trabbi go and mars attacks

Books - everthing that's written by Douglas Adams, T. C. Boyle and Walter Moers, who are, in my humble opinion, the unbeaten masters when it comes to imagination and story telling!!
Also I've really enjoyed Bill Bryson, Erich Fromm, Yuval Noah Harari, Jonas Jonasson, Mark Uwe Kling, Stephen King, Michael Lüders and so many more...

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

organizing a performance in front of the brandenburg gate in which we were carrying adults on sedan chairs on our shoulders to show up it's the youth which will carry the consequences of the political decisions that are made today. Such an unforgettable experience!!

Maybe you're planning to learn some german...?? No?? Well, I could teach you some funny phrases anyway ;D Same thing with Spanish and Italian and even more I would love to adopt some language skills from you!!
Also I'm a passioned (vegan) cook!! ...if I'm a good one you have to test out yourself ;)
