HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We haven't got too much free space in our house at the moment - when we eventually sort something i'd love to have people come stay - and I'm currently working a LOT but right now I can come meet people for a drink and introduce them to bit of Leeds life :)

Interests

I like to read, go to the pub, cook veggie food, go out and daaance, watch films, drink tea, go see bands, find some sort of excuse to wear fancy dress, see friends and go on spontaneous adventures. I'm also a bit of a crafty one so I'm usually doing some kind of sewing and knitting on the side...

Music, Movies, and Books

I've just finished Extreme Rambling (Walking The Wall) by Mark Thomas which was the story of his time walking the Isreal-Palestine border which was a really interesting read - I recommend!Music-wise i'm into all sorts - swing, punk, techno, 1940s jazz, blues, spoken word stuff, old skool hip-hop, reggae and ska.Films I love that pop into my head as i'm typing this: Everything Is Illuminated, This Is England, Requiem For A Dream, Little Miss Sunshine, Fear and Loathing In Las Vegas, Intermission, The Guard, Spun, Bowling For Columbine, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, La Haine, Milk, Goodbye Lenin, Habla Con Ella (and pretty much everything else Almodovar has ever done), Princesas, Tapas, Strictly Ballroom, Airplane!, Mallrats, The Goonies... and a lot else that I can't think of right now!
