Chi sono

ABOUT ME

I love life. I love living life. There is nothing better than trying to experience everything you can, while you can. I am young, so I feel right now is the best time for me to travel and go after all the things I want. I am currently studying abroad in Pau, France. I will be in Europe for another 5 months, traveling and studying. I am outgoing. I love music and art. I am a Photography & Graphic Design major with a minor in Painting & French. I don't think you can ever stop growing as a person, or gaining an education, so I plan to do both for the rest of my life. I love change. I think it keeps the mind young and active. Meeting new people is one of the best ways to learn about yourself and the aspects of life you appreciate most. I like going out, but I also enjoy the company of really great people and simply talking. People fascinate me and I learn so much from listening to the history of others. I try my best to have a good time, and rarely fail. C:

Interessi

I love taking photographs. I like seeing what my eye catches through my apparatus. It is how I document my life, and the life of those around me. My favorite subject is the human form and city landscapes. I love how we have built up cities around us. I really respect anyone who pursues their dreams in the art world, or any world for that matter. I love painting and drawing. Music is always a great way to grab my attention. Discovering new genres and artists is really intriguing for me. I like finding out what I like and don't like, and I like learning what makes a piece of music/art really wonderful. I like taking things apart to get to the root of what it really is, and then piecing it back together. Physically, literally, and metaphorically speaking. There are so many great ways to spend life, but my favorite is with friends. Good company can really change any atmosphere. I love wandering new places. I appreciate the path less traveled. I love learning.

Una cosa incredibile che ho fatto

Going into the Sistine Chapel was probably one of the most touching moments of my life. Thinking of it now really gives me chills. Looking up at Michel Angelo's work, seeing all that he painted and the spots I know he was made to cover up. Following the story he painted from beginning to end, the creation and the fall. Standing there, looking up at the ceiling for what felt like eternity. I felt like I had found my piece of heaven. I don't hold a religious connection to it, thought it is religious, I hold an artistic endeavor connection to it. Seeing what one person envisioned and set forth. Although he was made to change some aspects to please the church, his talent is what really strikes you. It is rare to find someone grasp how intense it is, I can barely understand it all. I respect it and admire his talents. Walking through and seeing not only his paintings, but his sculptures is a magnificent experience. Art really gets to me, and standing in a room full of one of the world's greatest artists is something I will never forget. It was legendary.

It may sound cheesy, and silly, but going to Abbey Road was a dream come true. Laying down on the crosswalk where The Beatles had been countless times, and where they photographed their album cover for Abbey Road was amazing. I honestly got so nervous to even approach it. I saw people crossing, but I didn't even think I was worthy of such. It is such a silly thought to have, I know, but it was the feeling I had. The Beatles had been there, many times. The crosswalk led right into the gated parking lot of Apple Studios. Knowing I was going to be where one of the most influential bands of music had been and spent time gave me goosebumps and made me feel giddy. I will never meet any of them, I know, but it was the thought of being closer to that idea that excited me. It was like I had won a race. Plus, so many fans go there for the same reason I was. You could linger around and talk to strangers about their love for The Beatles and what it meant for them to be in this specific spot. This, random, out of nowhere spot. I had come to London thinking of coming to this exact crosswalk, I had crossed many crosswalks before, but this one held so much meaning. Not only for me, but for everyone there, and all those to come and those who had been. It is like a trek Beatles' fans must trek. It is a meeting place to express your love and not feel ashamed of being goofy. It is about taking time out of your life to experience this. Crossing Abbey Road, no, laying down in the middle of Abbey Road and letting my friend photograph me, was beyond awesome. I will never forget how good it felt having people looking-on applaud me and the feeling I had walking away knowing I had accomplished a huge life goal, meeting new friends, and discussing how beautiful music is. It was a common bond that brought everyone there that day together. I think that alone is amazing in itself.
