About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To understand a watermelon you take a knive, cut it. Then you put a piece in your mouth. That is experience.

ABOUT ME
To put it in a nutshell: I try to be conscious and attentive in the moment without judging.
(But it just feels strange to put this hard lifelong practice and effort into one sentence and into this little standarised box in a profile.)
PHILOSOPHY
One day, my friend and I found in a book about Italian Futurism an illuminating phrase by Marinetti: "Poetry is an act". And from that moment on, we decided to pay attention to the poetic act. We dedicated ourselves to carrying out poetic acts as a part of sincere search for knowledge.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Had wonderful couchsurfing experiences in Israel and Poland and recomment it to everybody who wants to broaden his/her horizone. I love the philosophy of it: As a surfer I receive a very special gift and I can't pay you back by simply giving money. So I can just be thankful and respectful and give the gift of time and hospitality to others, too.
Interests
It all started when I researched on the subject matter "hysteria", that teached me a lot about the history of the occident. It evatuated in new views about sexuality, about logic, about subversion, about "normality" and "sickness", about the music of Wagner, about psychoanalysis, about mothers, about computers... and I found a wonderful phrase in this book:
"True dropouts will not be found on organic farms, but in libraries."
Since then I started to read, write and organise symposia and speeches on subjects that question normality and are on the edge between rational/irrational, logos/eros

Music, Movies, and Books
The Marx Brothers movies almost made me die laughing.
I like to watch films under a theme for example "mirrors" and then watch "A Zed and two Noughts" by Greenaway, "Last Year at Marienbad" by Resnais and "Taxi Driver" by Scorsese.
I like reading old Zen-Stories and Dada poems. They are consimilar.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
One day, I opened a coconut to eat it. I scratched the pulp out and discovered that the coconut husk had the pattern of Nietzsches bushy moustache and his eyes looked very severe at me. Now it hangs on my bedroom wall and reminds me of living vitally.
Teach, Learn, Share
"Couchsurfing-University" - if I'd have to criticize this platform, then because of this term. What is a couch? A couch is an utopian island in an overworked capitalistic society where you can rescue yourself of self-exploitation and enjoy the simple things of life: be lazy, relaxed and free of any ambitious goals so inspiration and insight can by itself arise. So, you don't have to have any educational mandate, you needn't teach me anything, that is what schools are made for and you needn't express how special and interesting you are, I will accept you the way you are as long as you are friendly, and I totally understand if you are exhausted after your travels. Why not use couchsurfing to stop the neoliberal spirale of accumulation of knowledge and skills and simply BE.
Learning, teaching and sharing is part of the process of meeting somebody new in itself, it happens automatically.
