Hello. I'm an English language teaching student from İstanbul, Türkiye. I'll graduate this year and hoping to travel more. I love making trying new foods, learning new languages and visiting historic sights.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

What makes traveling worth for me is immersing. I want to eat like a local, I want to see the spots that only the locals and seasoned travelers know. I also try to read about the current state and history of the country before I visit.
I believe making friends from the country I plan to travel or staying with a host would help a lot with that.
As a person who lives in Istanbul, I know that many people miss out on good food/beautiful places because there's not much information available online. I'm here to give recommendations. Currently cannot host but after my graduation, June 2024, I plan to host.

I had the chance to host a person before outside of couch surfing and that's my only experience.

I love Russian literature, cannot pick a favorite but the last book I've read was Heart of a Dog.

I'd love to bring souvenirs from my own country to share with you

What I Can Share with Hosts

Souvenirs, typical Turkish breakfast food and desserts. Sadly I cannot make a dinner but my mom is a cook so I'm sure I can learn few recipes from her before traveling haha.
