I prefer guests who stay at least three days. Check Google maps to see how far Glenfield is from the CBD.The reason I'm a host on here is simple, I like company and that doesn't just mean having someone in the house with me, I want interaction, if you are just going to stay in your room think about staying somewhere else. I also like telling guests about New Zealand and showing them a few of my favourite spots around Auckland. I'm a retired Building Contractor and Massage Therapist, I know strange mixture, I learned massage first but I had always loved creating things and ended being a Carpentry apprentice as well. I have 1 son who is in his early 20s and is in the Navy. I love sailing and any other excuse for being on, in or near the water. I love movies, live theatre, music, photography, reading, red wine as long as it's Pinot Noir and from Central Otago. I like hiking although I can't at the moment due to an ankle injury I got while sailing. When I was last active on Couch Surfing, I had a huge number of guests in a very short period of time and a lot of very good reviews. LGBTQ+ Friendly
I still have the occasional massage client, only on fine days and this will require my guests to go out for a couple of hours as I set up in the Living Room.
