ABOUT ME

Hi I'm Ben. I just recently graduated from college with a degree in Journalism and Mass Communication. I work in the service industry but I also work part time as a radio producer for 88Nine RadioMilwaukee. I make short form documentary radio pieces about interesting/positive/creative people and places here.

I like to collect records and see live music. I love traveling to new places and meeting people. A great day for me in Milwaukee would go something like this:

Big breakfast and iced coffee at the Riverwest Co-op.

Hang out at a local cafe...probably Fuel or Rochambo.

Check out some record stores looking for rock and roll 45's or something newer.

Ride a bike and read a book down by Lake Michigan.

Grill some veggie kebobs and brats in the back yard with some beers and friends.

Go see any of our great local bands around town.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've just hosted one time - a really nice girl was working for a non-profit here and needed a spot to stay. Didn't know what to expect, but it was a great, happy to help.
