Hi! I’m a Turkish architecture master’s student living in Germany, and I’m spending a few months in Florence for an Erasmus exchange.

I love exploring cities through architecture, urban spaces, photography, food and everyday life. When I travel, I usually walk a lot, take photos of architecture & city life and try to learn more about the culture & people.

I’m curious, respectful and easygoing and I enjoy conversations with locals. I like discovering places that are not only tourist spots but also part of daily life.

PS: Since I’m staying in a dormitory in Florence during my Erasmus, I can’t host at the moment. But once I’m back in Germany, I’d be happy to host as well :)

I like knowing about people and local perspectives, not just tourist spots. I love hearing stories about cities and meeting people from different cultures. Also, I’m a student, so my budget is a little limited but my curiosity for new places and people is unlimited 😄

I listen to many different types of music depending on my mood… indie, alternative, electronic, jazz and many more. Discovering new music from different countries is always fun for me.

I love moviea with beautiful cinematography or strong storytelling. When I visit a new city or country, I also like watching movies that are connected to that place. I think it’s a great way to understand the culture and atmosphere of a city.

I also enjoy books that teach me something new in general.

And I always enjoy exchanging recommendations for music, movies, and books. Maybe we can recommend some good musics, movies or books to each other 🙂

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Living in different cities while studying architecture. It changed the way I experience places. Instead of just visiting them, I started paying attention to how people live, how streets feel at different times of the day and how history and daily life shape a city.

I love learning about local culture and meeting new people. For me traveling is really about discovering different lives and perspectives.

I’m also happy to share mine and if there’s time, I can cook a Turkish breakfast for my hosts 😊

I’m an easygoing and respectful guest. I enjoy good conversations, sharing travel stories and exploring neighborhoods together. And as I mentioned before, one thing I can definitely bring is a nice Turkish breakfast if there’s time! :)

One of the things I love most about traveling is meeting people from different places and making friendships along the way. It’s always amazing when a friendship that started in one city crosses paths again somewhere else in the world.

For me Couchsurfing is about those connections and being part of a small international community.
