I am moving back to Berlin after a stint in Nigeria and really looking forward to going around Europe over the summer and meet some fabulous people along the way! I love people and their stories and feel like there is always something new and interesting to learn...you only have to listen :)

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

It is such a great way to meet people, make new friends, hear about their experiences and stories, and you always learn so much more about about a place or its traditions when you spend time with locals. I love the idea of getting to know different perspectives and people's own history with a place :)
And the few times that I have couchsurfed I've had an amazing time!

兴趣

I cannot live without reading I think, it is my first love. And closely associated to that is my love for storytelling. I enjoy writing, and currently have three open projects, one being an account of my experiences and impressions from Nigeria. When I don't have a lot of time though, I write poetry!
Apart from this, I have a variety of interests. I really love to cook, and more than this I like to share my food with people. I love crafts and arts, and creating new things with my hands.

I mostly enjoy historical or family drama.
Eternal Favorites- Gone With the Wind, Rebecca by Daphne du Maurier, The Glass Palace by Amitav Ghosh, Blackberry Wine by Joanne Harris.
Don't watch a lot of cinema and as for music I lean more to rock, indie/alt rock, some pop, classics, and country.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

This isn't THE ONE, but the last one. It was walking the canopy skywalk at the Lekki Conservation Centre....with the marshy forest and treetops under me and the Atlantic at the horizon. It was hot, the air was heavy with moisture but I felt suspended above a cover of beautiful greens and below the open blue of the skies. Amazing!
