Having my origins in Germany, I have lived in New Zealand and Great Britain before I moved to Japan. I have been living on Okinawa for 4 years. I am pursuing a PhD degree and, hence, am pretty busy doing research. Nevertheless, I have done a fair bit of exploring around the island and would be happy to show you around. I also have a scuba diving certification and can take you out for a dive, if you are certified. I absolutely love traveling and try to spent my holidays somewhere off island.

Couchsurfing allows you to meet locals all over the world and be emerged to different cultures. I only couchsurfed once until now, but it was a pleasant experience. I cooked dinner with my host and we talked the night away.
