A little bit about me......I was born and raised in Brazil. I had a beautiful life there, but always dreamed of travelling the world. I came to the United States when I was 23. It was supposed to be just the first of many countries, but soon I got married and had three children. Two sons and one daughter. Now that my daughter is 20 I decided that it's time for me to fulfill a long held dream to travel the world. Alone and backpacking. I quit my job at a bank, and I am ready to start my adventure.

I love meeting new people. I really do enjoy company at my home and being at someone's place rather than being in a boring expensive hotel room. It is always an adventure for me to discover a new place, new people and the possibility of making a new friend !

I love music in general. But music from the 70s and 80s have a special place in my heart.

As far as movies I like documentaries and movies that I can relate to, like things that really happened.

For books I like biographies, self-help, history. I'm a fan of Wayne Dyer, Paulo Coelho, and Gary Zukav.

I climbed the third highest mountain in Brazil when I was 17...alone and backpacking. That was an amazing experience to me.

I can teach English and Portuguese. Back home my hobbies are cake decorating and candle making.

As a traveler, I can contribute with house chores and share experiences about what I know. I hope to learn as well with my guests/hosts and build good memories for everyone.

I'll be happy to help in any way I can. I'm not a good cook, but can cook or bake something from my home country. I can help with teaching or practicing English and Portuguese.
