Overview
About Me
Bucharest-based former architecture student and expat, currently working as a woodworker.
I believe life is short, and the world we live in is something truly worth exploring. I'm curious by nature and always eager to learn — about people, places, cultures, and ideas. I find joy in meaningful conversations, spontaneous adventures, and the little things that make life feel vibrant.
Whether it's a quiet walk through a new city, a day or a week hike or a night spent sharing stories over a cup of tea, I’m always open to experiences that broaden my perspective and get me out of my routine. I value authenticity, kindness, and connection — the kind of encounters that remind you how beautifully diverse and surprisingly similar we all are.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
As a student, I used to travel on the lowest possible budget — and those were some of the best experiences I’ve had. Couchsurfing introduced me to generous people, spontaneous adventures, and a completely different way of seeing the world.
Now, I still prioritize getting the most out of every experience, and that means connecting with locals whenever I visit a new place. I believe people shape places more than landmarks do, and I love the idea of sharing stories, perspectives, and a bit of everyday life with someone from a different background.

Music, Movies, and Books
When it comes to music, I sometimes feel like I was born in the wrong era. I’m really into the old stuff — jazz, blues, folk, rock. If I had to pick a favorite band, it would probably be Fleetwood Mac.
Movies? That’s a different story. I’m honestly kind of bad at them — to put it into perspective, I’m one of those people who’s never seen Star Wars. But I’m currently working on my cinematic culture… slowly but surely, haha.
books? I read in waves — sometimes I devour pages, other times I just keep a book by my side like a quiet friend. I have a soft spot for poetry (but mostly Romanian authors), I like stories that feel a bit raw or melancholic, and the kind of writing that lingers in your mind long after.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I once swam in a glacial lake while raining. Felt pretty amazing
Teach, Learn, Share
I’m not sure I have much to teach yet, but I’m always open to learning — pretty much anything. I’m curious by nature and love picking up new perspectives, skills, or random facts from people I meet. Whether it’s a recipe, a song, or a new way of seeing the world, I’m here for it.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Stories, mostly — from the road, from back home, and from the in-between moments. I’m always up for a good conversation and believe that sharing experiences, even small ones, can leave a lasting impression. I can also offer curiosity, kindness, and respect for your space.
