About Me

I am a 45 year old widow from Montreal, Québec, Canada. I am a seamstress by profession and love just love any form of art. I come from a very large family of 15 kids and I am the youngest of the bunch. My family often says that my parents gave me all the talents but I say I am a ''jack of all trades, master of none''. I am interested in cultures, languages, arts and people.

Can't wait to finally see Ireland and Scotland. I will be visiting these two beautiful countries for 18 Days in June 2017. OMG » I can't wait....

I Love meeting new people and learning from them.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am looking for a small bedroom to accommodate two. I have not couch surfed before and this will be my first time ever... will you be our first?

I have never hosted anyone but I am not opposed in doing so. I live in the country quite far from the big city, but ask you never know!

I'm actually an old member of CS but lost all capability to contact with people since I changed my email, forgot my password and was not able to change my old email address. So I created this new account.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've seen many beautiful things in life, even-though I did not travel as much as some of the members of CS. But I must say that the most beautiful thing I've ever seen was the arrival of my children. And the most crazy thing I've ever done was to give up my comfortable government job at 40, which I hated, give up my miserable life and started living for real.

Life is too short to drag your behind everyday. “Life is too short to wake up with regrets. So love the people who treat you right. Forget about those who don’t. Believe everything happens for a reason. If you get a chance, take it. If it changes your life, let it. Nobody said life would be easy, they just promised it would most likely be worth it.” therefore you should love everything you do in life.

Teach, Learn, Share

If you need some mending done and have access to a sewing machine or just a needle and thread I would be more than happy to do some light sewing for you. ;)

I can help you with your French skills. And also, if you ever visit Montreal, I would be more then happy to welcome you into my home. Or send you to my son's or daughter's house for some great guidance. You can lookup Erika English if you want she's very active on CS.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Stories, laughter, some amazing Canadian maple syrup and great Quebec poutine...
