I am slowly discovering myself, and in this quest, I am discovering the world as well. I live to eat, cook and talk about food. Since I was little I dreamed of being able to travel and to know other cultures and to exchange experiences, this is the phase where this takes shape. I am a Buddhist, and a very determined and open person. I struggle not to cultivate prejudice and evil in myself.

To share, make exchanges relevant to our lives. I want to see the world from other perspectives and to have the opportunity to be enchanted by them. Planning a backpack for Asia, I found in coachsurfing an opportunity to really get to know people in new countries, get away from the tourist scene and meet real people and places. A rich and true cultural immersion, and the most incredible of all is to be able to offer something in return, experiences that go far beyond money.

About music, I listen mainly, Brazilian music. But my taste is so eclectic that it's hard to explain here. I like rap, soul, funk, R & B, Brazilian funk, pop, classical music, opera, folk, rock, everything!
Some artists: Maria Betânia, Luedji Luna, Djonga, Yann Tiersen, João Gilberto, Djavan, Beyoncé, Bruno Mars, Kendrick Lamar.
About movies: I like cult movies, comedies, dramas and some fantasy movies. One of my favorite movies is The Fabulous Destiny of Amelie Poulain.
Books: I am Malala, Kitchen Confidential, and The Da Vinci Code.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Become independent and have learned so much, in such a short time.
I left home at age 19, I had nothing. I worked a lot in restaurants, hours and hours, I rented an apartment, and I kept fighting. I left my job as a Chef - which I conquered at the age of 20 - in a renowned Brazilian cafeteria to dedicate myself to my goals in the foreground. At the moment, I am a freelancer, working simultaneously in several restaurants and gastronomic fronts, such as Gastronomix, a great event that happens annually at the Oscar Niemeyer Museum, and in other Brazilian cities. Being part of so many great things is incredible, and now, my new challenge is to go to Asia, take a course and an internship in Bangkok, then backpacking in other countries. This will be another amazing thing that I will do :)
